Libraries and modules

Hello Shooters!

Bantai is back with one more interesting question newbies come across when they get started with data science.

So without wasting time, let’s get started with a formal definition

Library: "It is a collection of modules."

Module: "A module is a set of lines of code which are used for a specific purpose and can be used in other programs as it is "

Let's decode it

For example, Elon Musk is working on the driverless car so rather than wasting time on inventing new technology for car manufacturing he uses knowledge of car manufacturing which has been invented long back. This knowledge is nothing but the "Module". Elon needs GPS technology to make driverless cars, for instance. GPS technology becomes the "Module" here, which will save Musk’s time on the project and he can use it as it is.

Now assume both the Modules (Car manufacturing and GPS) are in the form of e-books and whoever wants to work on driverless cars need them. To make life easy, we make a folder containing both the books. This folder will be called "Driverless car Library".

Libraries and modules save time and help teams to focus on the main requirement.

As shown above, Math is a module within the "Numeric and Mathematical modules Library"

Voila! Now you can distinguish between modules and Library shooters

See you in the next blog public till then eat Vada pav and do share the blog.
